Arrochar to Strachur via Lochgoilhead, or Strachur to Arrochar via Lochgoilhead
19 miles in duration, but with challenging landscape to traverse, this would make an ideal 2 day walking trip. In terms of getting away from it all, this part of the Way takes you up hillsides with spectacular scenery. Plus an overnight stay at picturesque Lochgoilhead – highly recommended.
Portavadie to Glendaruel via Tighnabruaich, or Glendaruel to Portavadie via Tighnabruaich
Drive on day one and walk the Portavadie to Tighnabruaich section in the afternoon (6 miles), followed by the Tighnabruaich to Glendaruel section the following day (11 miles)
Portavadie to Strachur via Tighnabruaich & Glendaruel, or Strachur to Portavadie via Glendaruel & Tighnabruaich
33 miles overall, do the Portavadie to Glendaruel section in one day, and the Glendaruel to Strachur section the next day. These sections of the walk are very pleasant and mostly not too challenging.
