“Just completed the Path over 3 days, Inveruglas to Portavadie and I have to say what an amazing and diverse walk. I genuinely didn’t expect this walk to be a 5 star but well done to the team for the work that has been put into making this one of Scotland’s Great Trails. The walk is amazingly sign posted and at no point did I need to refer to a map and the people you meet along the way couldn’t be any more helpful or friendly. In terms of the walk itself, it’s best described as “Scotland in 57 miles”. Well done and keep up the great work!!! “

“We walked from Ormidale to Tighnabruaich on a beautiful sunny day. The path was absolutely brilliant and very well sign posted. There were handrails when required, stepping stones through the boggy parts and very well placed benches to sit back in the sun and admire the views. Perfect in every way. A fantastic walk with amazing views and would definitely recommend. Well done everyone involved with the construction etc. “

“First off, just to say what a fantastic walking experience. I walked in June the last 2 years, and I am all booked up for 2018. I am looking forward to trying out the new path improvements. Your website is the gold standard.”

“This is a terrific LDP, our groups 15th, and one of the best for scenery and signposting. The work that has been done on the path has been well thought out and the waymarking is helpful without being obtrusive. Great places to stay, one of the best B&B meals at The Watermill in Glendaruel, thanks Sandra. Charlie the baggage man very helpful and knowledgeable. Just do it!”

“The Loch Lomond & Cowal Way is quiet compared to the West Highland Way. You can walk for hours without meeting anyone. The path is very well waymarked and there are nice places for wild-camping. You pass villages where you can buy things and refill your supplies. If you are looking for a quiet long distance walk with beautiful surroundings, then I would definitely recommend the Loch Lomond & Cowal Way.”  Razgar Hassan, visitor

“The Loch Lomond & Cowal Way is a well kept secret and with beautiful villages like Tighnabruaich on the way, you need to get the word out … and not keep it to yourselves.”
